BTS member Kim Taehyung shared a beautiful bond with his dog, Yeontan. Fans had seen the K-pop idol doing live videos with his dog. He has also posted his photographs on social media and brought the adorable fur baby to sets. His solo debut album, ‘Layover,’ also featured a Pomeranian who looked just like Yeontan. V even performed a live performance alongside his dog on stage in front of fans at Mcountdown.

On Monday, V broke the heartbreaking news of Yeontan’s demise to fans on Instagram. He shared photos and videos cherishing the fond memories of his dog. He captioned the Instagram post, “Mr. Kim Yeontan” with a black heart emoji, denoting the passing of the dog.

The first video in the carousel shows the singer playing with Yeontan. The dog can be seen placing his little paws in Kim Taehyung’s hand. Another still from the post displays the dog taking a car ride with the singer. The final photograph in the post showcases a more recent still of V, who is currently serving in the Korean military service, affectionately holding Yeontan’s face in his palms while making a heart sign with them.

Earlier the same day, V also wrote an emotional note to fans in Korean, revealing the sad news. He posted it on Instagram Stories. According to Soompi, the English-translated version of the note read, “Actually, the reason I’m writing this post today is that recently, Yeontan has embarked on a long journey to the dog stars. I thought a lot about how to tell you this, but I felt it was right to share this news with ARMY, who have shown so much love for Yeontan.”

The post continued, “I would be grateful if you could remember Yeontan and wish for his happiness even in the stars.” The BTS member concluded the heartfelt note by expressing his love and gratitude to fans.
